Acceptance of Multiply Grant Funding

Government have offered Liverpool City Region Combined Authority an allocation of £8.4m to delivery the Multiply, the national programme to improve numeracy skills, subject to the submission of an Investment Plan. The grant offer letter is expected to be received between meetings of the Combined Authority and there is a significant allocation which needs to be committed in 2022/23. Therefore delegated authority is requested to accept the grant in order to maximise the opportunity to fully commit the funding in this year.
