The LCR Combined Authority is being asked to approve City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement commissioned projects. This decision is vital to ensure that the Combined Authority and partners can deliver projects as agreed with Central Government. This project will be delivered under themes agreed with the Department for Transport.
Approval is therefore sought for:
· £44.97m to fund the Key Route Network (KRN) Levelling Up programme, supporting active travel, bus and highways across the wider KRN
· £5.9m to fund LCWIP phase 2 (Runcorn – Daresbury) An active travel corridor in Halton
