LCR 269 - Housing First Psychology Service

Approval is sought to accept the revenue funding from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities for Trailblazer services and the Housing First Psychology Service from a dedicated fund (22-24) and RSI 5 (24-25) and the approval to spend this funding between August 2022 – 2025 to the successful providers.


Accept £900,000 in Rough Sleeping Accommodation capital grant and invest such grant, together with £100,000 of CA funds in Resonance National Homelessness Property 2 Fund.


Accept Rough Sleeping Accommodation revenue grant. and approve expenditure of this funding between September 2022 – 2024 to the successful provider

Consultation process

The Housing First Psychology service has already been established for three years (2019-22). It is currently working across the six local authorities to support Housing First service users. The CA have worked alongside the Housing First service to review the specification and requirements of the Housing First Psychology service, ensuring that the implications of the changes are fully assessed.
